Our mission at St Joseph's is to develop lifelong learners by providing a future-focused education based on Gospel values. As a community of parents, students and staff, we will do this through celebrating our Catholic tradition, respecting and caring for each other, promoting effective partnerships, building a safe, welcoming and educationally rich environment , providing the opportunities for each person to achieve success in learning and developing the individual's creative abilities.
We offer specialist music, health and PE teachers, a specialist art consultant, Italian from P - 7, an instrumental program and piano, violin and guitar teachers. Beyond the classroom students can enjoy tennis lessons, competitive and non-competitive sport and swimming lessons. Leadership opportunities exist for upper primary students, and we have a Year 7 Canberra trip, a school camp for Years 4 - 6, a Kilometre club and outside school hours care.
Welcome to St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Bardon one of the popular educators in your Bardon area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
