Education VICÂ introduces St Clare's School in Lathlain, for all your education and learning needs.
St Clare's School was established in 1957 by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, whose mission is to assist women and girls in need and to work with them to help them gain an understanding of their innate dignity and worth.
We are a secondary school that provides a caring and safe school environment for girls who may find normal school situations difficult.
We seek to continually offer education and classes that are planned to be culturallly relevant, through recognising different life experiences and ability levels.
St Clare's offers a varied learning experience which includes focused teaching on literacy and numeracy, a full Year 8-10 program as well as a Year 10-12 program with Endorsed Units, Courses of Study and VET. The VET program includes Hospitality, IT, Business Studies and Community Services as well as Workplace Learning. Endorsed units include Financial Literacy, Life Skills and Keys for Life.
Welcome to St Clare's School one of the popular educators in your Lathlain area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
