Sydney Art School - Sydney's newest independent school for visual arts providing art classes and workshops in the Hills district.
Because I have a deep personal love of art and have enjoyed exploring all forms of visual art, I have created a school to help others share the pleasure of discovering their own personal creativity regardless of their level of experience.
Our school is designed to cater for all levels of experience, from beginners to experienced artists. Regardless of your level of experience we focus on 3 things...
Firstly we provide tutors who are tertiary qualified in fine arts, visual arts or education. Regardless of your level of experience you deserve to be taught by someone who can provide professional instruction, comprehensive notes and supplementary material. Our tutors also provide refreshing new ideas in art education that are already being followed by some of the more established art schools.
Secondly, our class sizes are small. Having well credentialled tutors is not enough. You also need to get time for personal tuition. We keep our class sizes small so that you can get the time you need with the tutor.
Thirdly, there are no hidden costs. For most classes we cover the cost of everything you need. Unless we tell you otherwise there is no extra cost for models, materials etc. You don't want the annoyance of budgeting for a class and then find that you need to pay more for a model. And if you are a busy person, (and who isn't) you don't want to spend time going to the art supply shops to buy the extra things you need for a class.
