Karuna is a well established college, (first est. 1992). We have an excellent reputation in our local area, with Karuna students being highly sought after in the workplace, because of their high skill levels.
We are a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO). Accredited with NSW Vocational Education & Training Accreditation Board (VETAB). All study undertaken at Karuna College can be accredited as RPL at other RTO’s, within Australia.
All our classes are of an evening, so you can work and study at the same time.
Karuna college offers 2 massage therapy courses:
You must have completed the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy or equivalent before you can undertake the Diploma of Remedial Massage.
If you are already a Therapist you can gain CEU/CPE points by completing single modules from the Diploma.
We offer a unique student clinic, run in conjunction with a local Rugby Club. This is a fully supervised clinic where students are shown taping techniques and are constantly dealing with chronic & acute injuries. This can include post op therapy as well as preparation for sport. This builds a knowledge base and confidence level that would normally take many years to develop.
During the course students are introduced to “Chinese Cupping” relative to Remedial Massage and also have the opportunity to attend an Anatomy Lab.
Karuna College students are highly sought after in the workplace, because of their high skill level and the colleges reputation for excellence.
Welcome to Karuna College one of the popular educators in your Corrimal area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
