About Us.....
Metro Modelling & Dance Academy is the largest grooming, deportment, modelling & dance academy in Western Australia. With our main focus on developing students confidence, self- esteem and real life skills, Metro Modelling & Dance academy attracts a wide range of ages. With currently 4 studios in WA and over 500 current students, Metro has over 20 courses on offer catering for everyone from tiny tot 3 year olds to mums and baby classes, school self-esteem and anti-bullying workshops.
Modelling
Metro Modelling is unlike most modelling schools, we are not an agency. Metro prides itself on being a non-competitive academy, which in return creates a nurturing environment encouraging success.
We do not just teach various aspects of modelling. Metro also covers a broad range of subjects. It is our objective to equip each student with skills that will increase their confidence to participate in life. Metro teaches several aspects of grooming including skincare, makeup, haircare, nail care and fitness. We also cover etiquette, public speaking, time management, professionalism, photo-shoots and much, much more.
We have a comprehensive course outline that lasts for over 3 years.
Dance
Metro Dance has a strong focus on hip hop. However Metro Dance has recently broadened out to now include a wider range of styles. Our current styles include jazz, contemporary, ballet, lyrical and musical theater. Metro dance also competes in dance competition around the state. With all competitions entered as of date, each solo, duo, trio and troupe has won first or second place. Our course outline is to ensure each of our students have movement, technique and flexibility. Metro encourages confidence in each of our dancers to ensure they can express themselves physically and emotionally through their chosen dance style.
