Welcome to Newcastle Dance Academy.Here at Newcastle Dance Academy you can let your child learn in a caring and creative environment for the sheer love of dance, or have our fully qualified, experienced and dedicated staff, nurture and encourage your child to develop their own individual talents and confidence to pursue a career in the field of dance.Classical Ballet is a very beautiful art form and one that takes great discipline. This is enhanced in our studio with correct classroom attire beginning from their hair to their ballet shoes. With the emphasis on strong technical training, yearly examinations give the children goals to work towards; eisteddfods give them a sense of achievement and the annual concert recital develops their performance and passion for dance. We operate with respect for the art and heritage of dance as a performing art. We share in the joys and challenges of dance education in a disciplined, yet positive environment that encourages the development, full expression and love of dance in each child. Our 5 beautiful studios are purpose built and designed with specially engineered sprung dance floors, all covered with dance tarkett for safe dance practice. All studios have full mirrored walls, custom built barres, fully air conditioned, sophisticated sounds systems and TV/DVD equipment for teacher training, student learning aids and student correction assessments.Our beautiful space also includes a welcoming foyer area with a working reception in trading hours, dressing rooms, bathrooms, costume room, tutu room, prop/scenery storage and building space, kitchen facilities and Pilates room.We are dedicated to professionalism and excellence in our classes, faculty, administration, annual performances and general operations.
