Education VICÂ introduces Currambine Primary School in Currambine, for all your education and learning needs.
Currambine is the Aboriginal meaning for ‘Place of Plenty of Rock’. The school is situated on high ground with views of the Indian Ocean to the west and the spectacular Darling Ranges to the East.
Currambine Primary School is located in the northern suburbs of Perth in the Joondalup area. The school opened in 1997 with approximately 300 children and the population is now 820 children. The school was reclassified as a level six school at the start of 2003.
Our school prides itself on being culturally diverse. The majority of our students are Australian but a large number of students have joined us from South Africa and the United Kingdom. We also have children from Asia and other African countries.
The school has excellent facilities. We have four teaching blocks, almost fully airconditioned, and an enclosed and carpeted undercover area. This allows assemblies and incursions to be in a comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing venue. Within the undercover area is our school canteen, which operates 5 days per week. We have a separate Administration building, music, technology, art and science block and another for the Library and staffroom.
Welcome to Currambine Primary School one of the popular educators in your Currambine area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
