Education VICÂ introduces Hamilton State School in Hamilton, for all your education and learning needs.
Hamilton State School is a small primary school (currently 95 students) catering for students from years prep to seven in supportive, multi-age classrooms. Our quality staff work together to identify and target individual students’ needs to ensure each child is moving forward in their academic and personal development.
Our school is located in an old suburban area of Brisbane, bordered by the suburbs Eagle Farm, Ascot, Hendra, and Pinkenba. Oxford Street is a quiet and secluded part of Hamilton. Visitors enter the school through our rainforest, which is yet another intriguing learning environment for the students. Our school actively promotes the Smart Moves initiative and boasts two adventure playgrounds, a ten-station fitness playground, tennis court, cricket net, sand pit, and a brand new library/technology hub.
Technology is important in our school with each air conditioned class, having its own interactive whiteboard. Our school is fortunate enough to boast a class set of wireless laptops in the new library that support student learning. Students have access to Reading Eggs and Mathletics licences at school and at home to extend and consolidate their learning.
Welcome to Hamilton State School one of the popular educators in your Hamilton area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
