Bankstown South Infants School is located 2km from Bankstown CBD, and is a centre for Early Childhood Education. It caters for students Pre-School to Year 2, and has an Early Learning Support Class for students with special needs. Our school is 92% Non-English Speaking Background. We have a strong student welfare program which promotes a love of learning and positive development of the whole child physically, academically and emotionally. The school has a strong Literacy program. We have experienced staff who implement a Count Me In Too program in Mathematics to increase students learning outcomes in Numeracy. The school is fortunate to have Interactive Whiteboards in all classrooms and this technology is utilised to improve students digital learning to equip them with the technological skills they need for today and for the future.
