Shalom Christian College is a co-educational school founded in 1992. Shalom Christian College offers a Christian education with a culturally inclusive curriculum designed to cater for Indigenous students from Prep to Year 12. Shalom offers on campus boarding facilities for secondary students, and has boarders from all over Australia.
Our College presently operates across two beautiful campuses. The main campus is located on Hervey's Range Road only a short distance from facilities such as the Willows Shopping Town, Riverway, and the Cowboy's Football Stadium. The second campus is located 65km north of Townsville in a serene rainforest area of Crystal Creek, an excellent environment for students who have become disengaged from their schooling. Programs at Crystal Creek focus on mainstream school readiness, and the development of literacy and numeracy skills. We warmly welcome you to Shalom.
The purpose of Shalom Christian College is to provide an environment in which young Indigenous people can prosper spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, physically and materially, and be empowered for life in all its fullness.
