Education VICÂ introduces Woodville Primary School in Woodville South, for all your education and learning needs.
The School undertook a major process of Site Improvement Planning during 2011. Our previous plan was constructed during 2008 for 2009 – 11 and responded to the data and needs expressed at that time. It was based around restructure of processes, redesign of collaborative groups, broadened curriculum focus and student support structures. Each year the plan was revisited with minor improvements being made to respond to changing data, contexts and situations.
The key elements of the 2009-11 plans were based on structural change influencing learning outcomes.
The following outcomes were achieved:
- Continued management of Literacy outcomes through SubSchool and inclusion structures.
- Targeting Writing as key area of growth.
- Further development of Literacy Scope and sequence to increase R – 7 consistency in planning and assessment
- Numeracy professional learning through Bower Cluster initiatives.
- Introduction of the Australian Curriculum in Mathematics.
- Maintenance and development
