Belle Vue is a wonderful school with a dedicated staff who are highly qualified and committed to ongoing improvement for all students. With a student population of approximately 200, Belle Vue is situated in spacious grounds in North Balwyn. The school draws its current population from North Balwyn and Bulleen communities.
The Belle Vue Primary School vision is to ensure all students have the opportunity to become independent thinkers. We aim for them to be literate and numerate, to promote their health and wellbeing and to encourage interaction with others in a positive and caring way. We recently introduced the You Can Do It Program and children are developing an understanding of the keys to success which are Confidence, Getting Along, Persistence, Organisation and Resilience.
Curriculum Planning at Belle Vue Primary School is outstanding, and a credit to our staff. Our dedicated team work hard to ensure our students receive a well rounded program. Physical Education and the Arts are areas of high priority. Our students actively engage in numerous sporting events. We also have two performance assemblies per term and a Mid Year Concert as a celebration of the talents of our students. We have an active Choir, Recorder Group and Dance Club. A number of students participate in individual music tuition.
Welcome to Belle Vue Primary School one of the popular educators in your Balwyn North area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
