Education VICÂ introduces Fawkner Primary School in Fawkner, for all your education and learning needs.
Fawkner Primary School opened in 1988 at Lorne Street. The school emerged from an amalgamation of Fawkner and Fawkner East Primary Schools and is situated on the site of the former Fawkner East Primary School.
Over two hectares of grounds provide children with a pleasant and safe environment. The grounds offer a variety of both active and passive play options, including a new,well-planned adventure playground all within the secure bounds of a high fence.
Fawkner Primary School offers a comprehensive education in a safe, secure and happy school climate. The school places special emphasis on the basics of reading,writing and mathematics, as well as offering a wide variety of specialist classes. Each grade has specialist classes in Phys. Ed, Music, Art, Library and Computer. The school has a fully equipped Maths Task Centre and a fully networked Computer Lab which are used on a regular basis by all grades, as well as laptops in each grade which are used as part of our Technology and Accelerated Reader programs.
