Mountain Gate Primary School is situated in the outer eastern suburb of Ferntree Gully and currently has an enrolment of 335.
The school community takes great pride in its outstanding indoor and outdoor learning spaces. Facilities include 16 classrooms, a gymnasium, art/craft room, music room, library, canteen, computer lab and a carpeted hall. A separate new multipurpose room is utilised to provide a well-organised Out Of School Hours program.
Our extensive grounds and gardens provide a wide variety of passive and active play areas including netball/basketball court, volleyball court, separate junior and senior playground equipment, artificial turf and a vast, grassed oval area.
