Education VICÂ introduces Mullum Primary School in Ringwood, for all your education and learning needs.
Mullum Primary School aims to provide a stimulating and supportive environment, with engaging and challenging educational programs beyond the basic curriculum.
The school values the whole child and strives to develop self-esteem, confidence and independence. We believe that all students need care and support as they grow towards adulthood. Students are better prepared for learning when they are happy, safe and healthy. As a caring learning community we promote 'norms' rather than 'rules' based upon values that will frame behaviours and responsibilities. Throughout the year, students participate in programs which practice human values, encourage a sense of personal responsibility and empower students to make conscious choices.
Students are empowered to develop their uniqueness- we are proud of our rich diversity of learners at Mullum. They are prepared for further education and to become productive citizens of the global society. Learning experiences are direct, experiential, and culturally significant with opportunities for students to interact with and explore the real world around them. The learning processes of inquiry; questioning, problem solving, data gathering and analysis are viewed as central to learning.
The school sees education as a partnership of children, staff, parents and the local community. Involvement by our families and our surrounding community greatly contribute to our learning environment.
Welcome to Mullum Primary School one of the popular educators in your Ringwood area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
