Education VICÂ introduces Takari Primary School in Balcatta, for all your education and learning needs.
The school consists of three clusters occupying eight teaching classrooms and a kindergarten in Rickman Street. Other classrooms are being occupied by LOTE, music, support, Physical Education and Out of School Care.
There is also a computer laboratory, science and technology room and a well equipped library.
The children are well presented in blue and dark blue uniform, with the parents supporting the school’s uniform policy.
At Physical Education /Sport the children are colourfully dressed to represent the three factions.( Nugent – Yellow, Rickman – Red and Paskin – Green )
The Takari parent community is outstanding with help and support for the school. Parents help with special support programs, in the canteen, library and classrooms.
The Takari P&C Association is a small but extremely active group of parents who set goals for fundraising and also assist staff in attaining additional resources forthe school.
The School Council meets each term to review school performances, set school priorities and endorse the Annual Budget and Report. The council consists of eight representatives and the school Principal.
Takari Primary School boasts an outstanding healthy eating canteen.
