Education VICÂ introduces Winterfold Primary School in Beaconsfield, for all your education and learning needs.
Winterfold Primary is a school with a strong community focus and is situated in Beaconsfield, south east of Fremantle. We are located just south of South Fremantle Senior High School and Challenger TAFE.
As an Independent Public School, our staff and community are committed to using our increased flexibilities to further enhance the learning needs of our diverse student population. These flexibilities include the ability to select our own staff, employ specialists to address student learning needs, and develop our own policies and procedures. Our school priorities and direction are overseen by a School Board.
Winterfold has a cosmopolitan student population with wonderful cultural diversity. The school and the local community share a harmonious relationship with all school events being well patronised by parents. The school provides educational facilities for children aged four to twelve and efficiently caters for student diversity.
The school is grouped into three clusters with a Kindergarten and a Pre Primary on site as well as a Child Care facility. Recent building programs have seen the completion of a new Library, undercover area and refurbishment of a dedicated performing arts centre. We also have a computer laboratory as well as a visual arts room. The school grounds are large, attractive and welcoming and contain two large ovals as well as several playgrounds.
Welcome to Winterfold Primary School one of the popular educators in your Beaconsfield area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other’s uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
