Our school serves a rapidly growing residential area west of Newcastle. Edgeworth is part of the North Lakes Urban Development Area. In recent years this has meant an increase in both total enrolment and student mobility rates. The school's Belief Statement, formulated by students, parents and teachers establishes the framework for the way we seek to achieve our vision of a Quality School: We believe Edgeworth Public School should be a peaceful place where all people learn, do their best, have fun and are proud of their achievements. A place where everyone feels safe because kindness and respect are shown to all. It is our intention that everything happening at the school should be aligned with this belief statement.
