Aspect Hunter School provides children with an autism spectrum disorder specialised placement options and supports families to develop strategies and support networks for the future. The school provides a specialised curriculum and community integration programs supported by a multidisciplinary team comprising of an occupational therapist, speech therapist and school counsellor.
The school enrols children aged from 3 years and 10 months and from across the areas of Hunter Valley, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. The school operates from Shortland and has satellite classes in both NSW Department of Education and Training schools and Catholic schools.
