Tomerong Public School, with 132 students enrolled, offers quality education programs to its rural community. Guiding students to achieve to their maximum potential underpins all planned teaching/learning programs. Working in a supportive environment, all students are encouraged to become self motivated and independent workers. Teachers utilise a wide variety of teaching strategies and student grouping techniques in their endeavours to cater for students' differing learning styles and needs. The use of technology, over recent years, has enhanced student motivation. Based on a two year cycle, units of work are planned using an outcomes based approach that allow the tracking of students through the K-6 continuum.
